Ho-Ho-Ho-Hummers! In viewing the images of 9 13, you may feel the urgency the birds display to consume as much nectar as possible. They know it is almost time to go. If you have been following this migration review, you will see fat, rounded birds now, that were tiny and skinny a few weeks ago when they arrived.
They will use all of the energy stored in their fat cells to fly across the Gulf of Mexico to their winter homes in Mexico and Central America. Who knew I would be a famous Chef to hummingbirds by cooking sugar water! WOW-What a trip they take every year. Enjoy!
