Hi Everybody!
Welcome to catching up with the cardinals at the front gate. You will quickly notice the gate would not block people or wildlife, however it does stop a car from running over the birds! Today's post shows the cardinals gathering at communal feeding station (sunflower seed on the ground). The cardinals live here year round, but vacation off site for October and November,returning in December. They are the official greeters to the little migrant songbirds and treat them like babies. Today the first yellow warbler showed up with some sparrows. The cardinals are building their nests, so we will have baby pictures soon. The hummingbirds return next post. Enjoy!
