LUNCHTIME AT KATES CABIN! THE HUMMINGBIRD MIGRATION REVIEW 9 9F

Hi Everybody!!
You are welcome to join my tiny guests for the lunch hour! Today's Special:  Sugar Water.  The hummingbirds really like nectar feeders, but also visit flowers. The main dish, however, is little white flies. Hummers use their beaks like a fishing pole to snatch flies out of the air. The reason birds fly south is to follow food-flowers and flies (which freeze up North). Most hummingbirds will fly across the big Gulf of Mexico non stop and without food. In Texas, they fatten up before making the flight. They will loose weight on the trip, but food will be plentiful in Mexico. Enjoy!
