Hi Everybody!!
As you can imagine, the Spring Parade of Blooms in the woodland gardens is a big event around here. The Parade officially kicks off on March 1 and could last for 100 days. The Spectators are still arriving as preparations are well under way. The woodpecker has chosen a skybox for viewing the festivities. The squirrels, however, have gone nuts. They spiked the birdbath with fermented nectar and are literally running through the treetops. I made the mistake of giving the squirrels the little bags of peanuts to hand out during the parade. They stole them all and put them up in their nest. Now, the squirrels are selling the peanuts to the crows in exchange for stolen shiny trinkets. Anyway, I have a very squirrelly situation going on and the squirrel guard dog has laid down on the job. Of course, I have photos documenting all this madness below! Enjoy!
