Hi Everybody!!
April is the best time to see the bluebonnet flowers in Texas. The beautiful blues are the State Flower and a sure sign winter is over. There is Spring Migration every year when people in the cities decide to drive out to the country roads to see the fields of blue! All children want to pick a few bluebonnets to put in a cup. (Most) all Mom's declare it is illegal to pick bluebonnets (an old myth). Not to worry, the jails are not full of toddlers picking bluebonnets! It is not against the law, but rather than argue with my kids, I just say: "Google It"! The bluebonnets seen below are in my yard and I can do whatever I want with them. I most enjoy watching the Grandkids pick them and connect with a flower! Enjoy!
