THE SPRING PARADE OF BLOOMS MARCH INTO APRIL!

Hi Everybody!!
I welcomed the delightful showers that arrived with April. The increased rainfall throughout March stimulated the flowers to bloom at full speed ahead! In today's photo lineup, we will look at blooms of the Crab Apple Tree, The Mayhaw Tree and the Peach Tree. I can not choose just one favorite fruit tree flower, so I enjoy all of them.  As the fruit trees are among the first to bud out, they are also first in finishing their bloom as we head into April. The honeybees and other pollinators did their job, as I am beginning to see tiny fruits where the petals are falling off. Enjoy!

WELCOME TO MARCH AND THE SPRING PARADE OF BLOOMS AT KATES CABIN

Hi Everybody!!
The month of March arrived right on time today. My most favorite season of Spring is ready to dazzle us with millions of blooms popping out all over this one acre! The first of my big azalea bushes began budding up mid February and is featured here in today's photo lineup below.  This is a 'George Tabor' Azalea, which is two toned pink blooms. There is one random bloom twin on the bush which is purple, the original color. We still have one more freeze coming this week, so it will be about 2 weeks before all of the azaleas are open. I look forward to sharing this exciting time with all of you and encourage you to plant Spring Flowers! Enjoy!
