Hi Everybody!!
Here is Lucy with a wing wave for you! She does not come over to my backyard feeding station as she hunts out in the field. All the creatures below come daily for seed. Now, when I was a kid, I grew up in a little house with a backyard among a neighborhood of the same. Today there are many apartments/condos without backyards. You can hang a feeder on the balcony or get permission to put a feeding station on the grounds for all to enjoy. The birds have only one rule: once you begin feeding them, you must do it everyday, as they imprint the location as food source. You can also throw seed on the ground if you have no feeder. A small investment in Nature yields a very high return! Enjoy!

This is my buzzard friend Lucy. She lives here by her choice.
You can see the new green spring growth around her tree. She acts like she is hiding from me!
She has a nest down on the ground.
Her white wingtips identify her as a Black Vulture.
