A BEE'S EYE VIEW OF FRUIT TREE FLOWERS!
Hi Everybody!!
I thought it might be fun to give you a bee's eye view of some of the fruit flowers popping out around the grounds of Kates Cabin. The pretty flowers are like flags waving in the wind beckoning the bees to: "Come In"! The bees ( and other flyers) fly into the flowers for a drink of sweet nectar. During that process, the bee simply walks around on the flower dropping bits of pollen from other flowers. If one pollen grain enters the flower, it is pollinated and a fruit will grow. Next time you eat a yummy fruit, thank a bee! Enjoy!
