LAST YEAR'S WINTER HUMMINGBIRDS-THE HUMMINGBIRD MIGRATION REVIEW
Hi Everybody!!
I went into my winter albums to recover pics of the hummingbirds from last year. This was the first pair of hummers to ever spend the winter in Texas at Kates Cabin. I kept the feeders fresh all winter and even had to thaw them out twice when they froze! These birds kept to themselves, hidden deep in the woods. They came at least twice every day to the feeders, even on the coldest days! They showed up on last Thanksgiving looking in the window at the family dinner to the delight of the grandkids! Now, this new surprise bird showed up yesterday. I do not know if this is the same bird, but time will tell when I catch him in the camera! Enjoy!
The photos below are from several winter Albums in my G+ Gallery, which you are welcome to visit anytime.
Also, you can find some posts in my old Blog: katescabinbirdsanctuaryintexas.blogspot.com
Thank You all for checking out the Hummingbirds!

PS- To my friends who saw the last Blog Post, with the bee on the inside of the feeder looking out- No, she did not drown, I opened the feeder, poured her out and refilled the feeder! Plenty of bee volunteers licked her dry and she flew off! I love the bees, too. Thanks!
