HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM ALL THE CRITTERS AT KATES CABIN
Hi Everybody!!
Happy Thanksgiving to All. Come on in my front gate and see what is going on today in the woods. One thing you will notice is the outstanding Fall Color dancing on my crepe myrtles on a crystal clear, crisp day in real time! Next, I found a yellow butterfly. Then I snapped Pete the Possum on my back screened porch lighting up the touch light. And, (drum roll please) I caught the winter hummer who first showed up last Thanksgiving. He has returned. Now, here is Fat Sissy to 'Roll in Thanksgiving' and point out the colored trees! Enjoy!

My best surprise: Last night the buzzards came home to my tall pine trees as they have done at least the 40 years I have been out here. I woke up to watch over 300 Turkey Buzzards wake up and take off for the day. They came home at sunset.

SEPTEMBER 10 REVIEW BEGINS-THE HUMMINGBIRD MIGRATION 2014
Hi Everybody!!
The review today begins September 10 photos. The ninth was the longest day shooting and high point of bird count. Some were gone on the morning of the tenth, but still plenty of activity at the feeders. The bees and birds have developed an odd friendship that seems to work for them. Everybody is getting Fat! I am happy to hear from all of you that you are enjoying the little birds, Thank You! I hope next year Google will send a drone cam to be in top of the trees to get some great shots! All they would need to do is add some hooks to the drone to hang feeders on! The birds would go to it for sure. The Invitation is open. Enjoy!
